Steve and Judy Padis know it takes skill, patience and dedication to make a great jewel. As the owners of three Padis Jewelry stores around the San Francisco Bay area, including one in St. Helena, the couple has a reputation for elegant and unique taste. As the lovers of fine wines with a collection of more than 10,000 bottles, it seemed inevitable, then, that they would eventually set their sights on producing stylish wines in the Napa Valley the love.

That opportunity came in 2004 when they purchased their property in the Oak Knoll region, built caves and developed 15 acres, and then released in 2007 one barrel of Cabernet Sauvignon that was exclusive to charity auctions and family.

Today, the Padis family continues their community involvement as strong supporters of local charities and the Napa Valley wine community, and their partnership with winemaker Robert Foley allows them to release wines in the design they know best: as true gems.
